Gutoys Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Gutoys (Android package name: com.gurobot.gutoys), developed and operated by Shenzhen Yunxigu Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市云希谷科技有限公司), listed on Google Play as “shenZhen Yunxigu Technology Co.Ltd” (hereinafter referred to as our company). Gutoys is a free commercial application. This service is provided free of charge by our company and is used as is.

This page is used to notify visitors about our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information if anyone decides to use our Service. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection and Use

Before users explicitly consent to the Privacy Policy, the App and its integrated third-party SDKs must not collect any personal information. When the App is first run, users should be prompted in a prominent way (such as a pop-up) to read and agree to the Privacy Policy, which should include links to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, as well as options to agree or decline. This information includes:

1. Purpose of collecting personal information: Detailed explanation of why the App and its integrated third-party SDKs need to collect users' personal information, such as providing specific services, improving user experience, conducting data analysis, etc.

2. Methods of collecting personal information: Describe how information is collected, such as through user filling, automatic device collection, use of Cookies or other tracking technologies, etc.

3. Scope of personal information collection: List specific types of information collected, such as device identifiers (e.g., IMEI, OAID), location information, contacts, call records, software installation lists, etc.

4. Log information: When you use our Service, we may automatically collect (including in the background running state) detailed usage of our Service, which is saved as network logs. For example, your login account, browser model, telecom operator, IP address, stay duration, refresh records, product running logs and crash records.

5. Device information: We will request access to relevant permissions on your device, including device information permissions, location permissions, etc.

6. WIFI: To ensure the implementation of core functions such as device binding and network connection optimization, when you use device binding, network diagnosis and other services, we need to obtain the WIFI name (SSID) you are currently connected to through system API to complete automatic matching between devices and networks or detect network environment stability.

In order to ensure the normal provision of corresponding services to you, during your use of the Gutoys app, the following (partial) permissions may need to be enabled (in accordance with the principle of least use and the principle of step-by-step authorization, requests for relevant permissions will only be made to you when you use specific services. Refusing some permissions will not affect the normal use of other functions unrelated to the permissions):

• Location permission: Including access to approximate location information (using network for positioning) and access to precise location information (using GPS and network for positioning). When you need to use the Gutoys app-WIFI network configuration, you need to grant us this authorization;
• Background location access (Android): Gutoys uses location access to read Wi-Fi network information for device setup, including in the background when you switch to Wi-Fi settings during setup. We display a separate in-app disclosure before related access. If you decline, you can keep using other features. Agreeing to the disclosure does not itself grant Android location permission;
• File access permission: Used to compare the version information of the Gutoys app and write data;
• Notification permission: Receive messages pushed by us, such as version update information;
• Photo selection: When you select an avatar, content image, or timetable image on Android, the system photo picker gives the app access only to the photo you select, without granting access to your full library. A timetable image is uploaded only after your confirmation and is used only to recognize course content. On iOS, the corresponding photo access permission may be required;
• Get device identifiers and status: To provide you with security protection services, we need to obtain device identifiers and status (e.g., account login on an unusual device). When you cancel (completely delete data), you also need to use device identifiers to associate all your data;
• Permission to take photos or record audio: Camera or microphone permission is required when you bind a device, take a new avatar photo, capture and recognize a timetable, or send a voice message to a smart device linked to Gutoys. Timetable images are uploaded only after your confirmation and only for recognition. If you do not grant the relevant permission, the corresponding feature may be unavailable, but other features are not affected;

Third-Party SDK Directory

To ensure the stable operation of the App or implement related functions, we have integrated SDKs provided by third-party service providers. The following are details of the third-party SDKs we have integrated:

Storage Period of Personal Information

1. Storage period: We will only retain your personal information for the shortest period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy. For example, your network log information is retained for no less than 6 months as required by law. Account information will be processed within 15 working days after you cancel your account.

2. Expiration handling: After personal information exceeds the retention period, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with legal requirements.

Auto-start

1. To ensure that this application can normally receive broadcast messages pushed by the client when it is closed or running in the background, this application must use the (auto-start) capability, which will wake up the application's auto-start behavior by sending broadcasts through the system at a certain frequency, which is necessary for implementing functions and services.

2. Before you agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, if you click to view the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, to prevent third-party SDKs from collecting your personal information, we will open the User Agreement and Privacy Policy for you by starting the system browser.

Log Data

We hope to inform you that whenever you use our Service, if there is an error in the application, we will collect data and information through third-party products called log data. This log data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, application configuration when using our Service, the time and date you use the Service, and other statistical information.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, usually used as an anonymous unique identifier. This information will be sent from the website you visit to your browser and stored in the device's memory.

After you complete the account registration for the Gutoys app, you can check and modify the personal information you submitted to the Gutoys app. Generally, you can browse and modify the information you submitted at any time, but for security and identity identification considerations, you may not be able to modify some initial registration information and verification information provided during registration. To ensure security, we may require you to provide a written request or appropriately prove your identity. We will make every effort to respond to you within a reasonable time frame, usually within 15 working days.

(2) Account Cancellation

We provide you with the function to cancel your registered account. Under the conditions agreed in the service agreement and relevant national laws and regulations, the cancellation function is provided in the "My" section of the APP.
